A couple of very special things about our Signature Tenor (Formerly the Replica) are:

1- This is built with a Spanish heal neck joint, meaning that the neck and body are one, not made as separate units with a dovetail or bolt on. This is the old Spanish method which created better unity, energy flow and can never come loose!

2- Being joined at the 12th fret places the bridge in the sweet spot of the top, giving the best energy production by the bridge vibrating the top. The 14 fret neck joint is nice for playing up high but it places the bridge in a stiffer part of the top which is not optimal for sound production.

3- The back of my ukuleles are fan braced and really vibrate when played. This adds power and resonance in a way that I have not seen from other brands.

4- I brace my tops with a reverse fan bracing which frees up the area in front of the bridge to sustain vibrations longer than the traditional fan bracing. It results in a sweeter tone with more power, clarity and sustain.
