“Guitars Through the Ages, from craftsman to performer” is een boek geschreven door verzamelaar James Westbrook uit Engeland. Dit is zijn 1ste boek over een collectie gitaren die hij in zijn bezit had in 2002.

De verzameling bestond uit:
1. Een anonieme barokgitaar gebouwd in Frankrijk c.1780,
2. Een prachtige Gennaro Fabricatore (Napoli) 1830,
3. Double top R.Lacote uit 1830 (gerestaureerd door Kurt Decorte),
4. Louis Panormo uit London 1838,
5. Een Antonio de Torres SE 127 gebouwd in 1889,
6. Robert Bouchet (Paris) uit 1966.

 

Het boek bevat veel foto’s (kleur, zw/wit), achtergrond info en afmetingen van alle instrumenten.
